So my husband has gone through two of these already - I have purchased them to "help him through" the seasons when fishing is not as much fun (snowy winter). He will play it for hours until the batteries run out.

This is a fun toy! I acutally purchased it for my father who is an avid fisherman, but is sick and facing surgery during fishing season. He has tried it out and it seems to be great fun. I don't think it would please the younger crowd, or anyone for that matter, who is used to real "gaming" if you are looking for graphics, etc. But for the money it's a good stand-alone item that will serve it's purpose.

This was given to my grandson. He is 8 years old. He loved it and was kept enthralled for a long time. I don't know if is is educational as I didn't play with it. It is too soon to decide if it is durable.
